About Synology Secure SignIn

Synology Secure SignIn strengthens your account protection with flexible two-factor authentication. This app works with your Synology NAS and DiskStation Manager 7.0 or above to add an extra security layer to your login process.

Choose your verification method: approve sign-in requests directly from your phone, or generate time-based verification codes (OTP). The approve sign-in option can even replace your DSM password for streamlined yet secure access. For maximum protection, combine either method as a second authentication step alongside your primary password.

Set up is straightforward — enable Synology Secure SignIn in your DiskStation Manager settings, then use this app to manage your authentication requests. Every login gets verified on your trusted device, keeping unauthorized access at bay. Synology Secure SignIn gives you control over who accesses your NAS, no matter where you are.
